New to the market, this modern, compact, easy-to-use banknote checker device is reliable and user-friendly and will quickly authenticate and count your banknotes, giving you confidence at the point of sale and protecting your bottom line.
The BV20 SD is a compact, portable, multi-currency forgery detector. The device can handle up to five different currencies and operates with virtually no processing noise. It is battery-powered, and the battery comes fitted as standard.
The BV20 SD is capable of handling both polymer and paper notes and its software can easily be updated through an SD card (available separately).
In addition to our BV20 SD device, we also offer the BV30 SD forgery detector, and both our CounterCache intelligent (CCi) solution and our FC300 friction note counter also offer a counterfeit detection functionality.
Bank of England Approved Forgery Detection
The BV20 SD is tested to detect all known Bank of England GBP/SCO/NIRL forged banknotes – reinforcing its forgery detection credentials

An updated SD card is available to purchase (depending on your warranty status) to enable you to upgrade your BV20 SD easily. This is required when a currency changes or forgery detection is updated.
