James graduated in Law from Newcastle University and studied for an MBA at Warwick Business School. He joined Volumatic as Commercial Director in 2007, having previously held a number of commercial roles in Pepsico, Cable & Wireless, Express Engineering, and Halma plc.
James was an instrumental figure in the management buyout of Volumatic from Halma PLC in 2012. He was appointed to the position of Managing Director in April 2018, and became CEO in 2026.
With nearly 17 years experience in cash handling, James is a recognised thought leader within the industry, and has been a speaker at a number of industry events across Europe and as far a-field as North America, Australia and the Middle East.
Colin has been with Volumatic since 2006.
He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and is a finance graduate of Cardiff University. Prior to joining Volumatic Colin held a number of roles within Halma PLC, Volumatic’s former owner.
For relaxation, you will often find Colin in the mountains - walking in Wales or skiing in the Alps.
With over 25 year’s experience at Volumatic, Juliette has been involved in several areas of the business having previously held the role of Finance Director as well as being in charge of IT.
A graduate in Modern Languages and Linguistics (French and Spanish) from the University of Essex and a chartered accountant, Juliette is now Operations Director and has held that post for over 15 years. During that time, she has been responsible for major rollouts of Volumatic products to several customers: Morrisons, Tesco and Co-op to name a few. Previous to Volumatic Juliette had a head office role in David S Smith Packaging.
Most of Juliette's spare time is taken up with her two children as well as managing and playing badminton for the local and county leagues.
Mike joined Volumatic as the UK Sales Manager in 2011 and was appointed to the board as Sales and Marketing Director in 2019, and then became our Director of UK Sales in 2025.
He has achieved year-on-year business growth and landed the largest order in Volumatic’s record. He now manages the UK Sales team where the focus is on winning new customers and expanding the business in both new and existing industries.
Since becoming a Sales Director, Mike continues to set ambitious targets for himself and his team. His goal is to continue building on Volumatic's success throughout the UK and ensure it reaches heady new heights.
Neil has been at the forefront of technology and product development for the majority of his career having held senior management roles in engineering, product development, and operations for a combination of start-ups and multinational technology companies.
He specialises in enabling effective commercialisation of new technologies in consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.
