The Challenge
With 50 branches across the UK, all taking a high volume of cash each day, The Co-operative Bank need ongoing help to avoid manual cash counting so that their employees remain more efficient and can spend more time serving customers. Although still in good working order, their previous coin and note scales from Volumatic were over 10 years old and therefore beginning to show wear and tear and signs of slowing down.
The Solution
The Co-operative Bank therefore reached out to Volumatic to find out what they could potentially provide to refresh their current devices. Having already installed Volumatic CountEasy scales in their branches a decade earlier, Volumatic recommended updating their CountEasy devices to our 2nd generation CountEasy money counting scales, as an easier way to count their daily cash deposits more efficiently and accurately at the end of each day. The new CountEasy has a range of additional functionalities and is updated with newer software that will work with the latest and upcoming polymer notes.
