The CounterCache Classic secure cash storage device increases point-of-sale security by removing the temptation for till snatches or internal shrink. It streamlines the cash handling process by reducing or removing the need for time-consuming skims.
The CounterCache Classic has a time-tested design which stores notes securely, whilst at the same time offering simple operation and excellent note presentation, making it perfect for busy retail environments, cafes and restaurants or anywhere that takes cash and wants to keep it out-of-sight.

Clever Internal Cassette
Unlike the CounterCache Basic, once installed, the CounterCache Classic is permanently fixed in place at your POS. To remove your cash, the Classic features an internal cassette, which holds up to 450 notes and can only be released with the use of a key and a key plate, which seals the cash. A replacement empty cassette can then be inserted into the Classic unit, avoiding any downtime at the POS.
The full cassette of notes can then be taken to your back office, where it can be opened and the money counted, minimizing downtime in shift changes and cash lifts.

CounterCache Classic Accessories
Cassettes
The CounterCache Classic includes a sturdy plastic internal cassette, which allows you to empty your cash contents quickly and easily without the need to take the whole device into your back office to empty. Additional cassettes can also be purchased.
Keyplate
Also included with the CounterCache Classic is a keyplate, which allows you to both easily insert and remove the internal cassette inside the device in one seamless action. Additional keyplates can be purchased by contacting our Sales team should you need them.
Seals
Volumatic also offer security seals for use with the CounterCache Classic cassettes; plain ones that show tamper evidence, and numbered ones for both tamper evidence and audit trail. These seals can be purchased in bulk from our Sales team if you require them.
