The Challenge

SPAR stores in the North of England were experiencing a lack of efficiency when it came to their daily cash processing, plus were experiencing security issues with the large amounts of cash being put in to their tills each day, which made their staff feel unsafe at times. They wanted a cash handling solution that made their daily workload quicker and more cost effective for their cash handling and so approached their wholesale partners, James Hall & Co, to assist them in finding a solution.

The Outcome

Alex invested in several Volumatic cash handling machines for all Spar stores in the North – supplying them with CountEasy money counter machines, CounterCache Classic secure storage devices, and BV30 SD forgery detectors. Volumatic were able to demonstrate how using a combination of these devices would address the issues faced by SPAR stores every day and James Hall & Co. Ltd helped facilitate the relationship and rollout of these devices across their portfolio of stores, both company-owned and franchisees.
