We're Hiring! Could you be our next Business Development Representative?
We are the UK's leading manufacturer of intelligent cash handling equipment with customers in the retail, banking, and leisure sectors. Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking a Business Development Representative (internal salesperson) to join our team.
This is the ideal role for a highly motivated, proactive sales professional looking to progress their career within a dynamic, successful, and growing team.
As a BDR you will be responsible for generating new business leads and developing existing customer accounts (including many well-known high street retailers) within our UK North Territory.
In this office-based role, you will support the UK Sales Manager (North). Additionally, you will also be involved in a wide range of tasks including upkeep of our CRM system, prospecting for new opportunities, appointment making, account management, marketing campaign follow-up, and general customer support.
To be considered for this exciting, position, you must have:
- Sales experience and a good understanding of the sales process
- A proven track record of proactively making outbound calls to existing and new customers, generating and developing sales opportunities
- An ability to organise a workload that combines office administration and ‘system upkeep’ including Workbooks CRM with the sales role as stipulated
Competitive and results-driven, as a BDR, you must have superb communication skills and a confident telephone manner. The ability to work well within a team is key.
Although not essential, any knowledge or experience of the retail sector would be an advantage to your application.
The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance of our Coventry office.
